I am very pleased to release in the next coming months a brand new collection of acoustic modeled instruments, created with SynthMaker and based on an unique modeling method for creating sustained instruments. I have called it Eclectic Acoustic Synthesis (EAS), because the method is not ‘physical correct’. But the sounding results can easily compete with the physical counterparts! The advance of EAS is, that it offers - in the developmental stage - a very precise control over timbre.
The format is VST for PC (and of course Intel Mac running Windows) + the StandAlone versions. The interfaces are simple and clear, and with an uniform look + a picture of the relevant instrument. Click here for an example of the interface. The CPU load for most instruments is rather low. I inform you about this per released collection.
Important: the breath pressure of the sustained instruments is controlled via the ModWheel on your Keyboard or a breath controller. There is no velocity control for this (when you want velocity control, use sampled instruments). Of course, using CC’s ask for some practice...but I (and hopefully you) prefer a smooth crescendo/decrescendo , in stead of jumping from one velocity stage of breath pressure to an other! Using CC’s also gives you also much more room for improvisation!
The instruments will be released as collections of a particular type of instrument. Often they cover the complete range of that instrument.
There are also trial versions now, one per collection.
The price of the collections varies from about 129 - 179 USD.
The first release is the TrumpetCollection. Listen to the mp3 sound clips - and be surprised how real a synthesized instrument can sound...
TrumpetCollectionThe TrumpetCollection features a Bass Trumpet, Classical Trumpet, two Jazz Trumpets, Piccolo Trumpet and Cornet. All the instruments can overblow now and have their full natural range. like real Trumpets, you can ‘blow’ the models from very soft to very loud with an increment of brightness (the high frequencies become more and more prominent). This is done via modulation wheel or breath controller. Low CPU load: about 8 - 13 % on my moderate PC, so not very fast! Controls: -Lip tention, -Breath noise, -Vibrato (amplitude and/or pitch), -EQ, -Mute, -Fine tuning.
Bass Trumpet(JazzTune) This trial version is restricted in the following way: the sound is interrupted very shortly with silence. This happens every 20 second. Price: $ 179.00 |
LowBrassCollectionThe LowBrassCollection features a Bass Trombone, Tenor Trombone, F-Horn and WagnerTuba. All the instruments have their full natural range. For Breath Pressure you can choose between ModWheel and BreathController. They react from soft to very loud.. The CPU usage for a single Brass Instrument is low: about 15 % on my moderate PC, so not very fast! Controls: -BreathPressure (ModWheel or Breath Controller), -LipTention, -Noise/Instability -Vibrato, -Slide (Trombones only) -Graphical represented parametric EQ (4 stages) -Fine Tuning.
BassTrombone(Section) This trial version is restricted in the following way: the sound is interrupted very shortly with silence. This happens every 20 second. Price: $ 179.00 |
FluteCollectionThe FluteCollection contains a Bass Flute, C(Concert)Flute and Piccolo. Features: -very realistic flute sounds, -note range: 3 octaves. -like real flutes, you can ‘blow’ the models from very soft to very loud with an increment of brightness (the high frequencies become more and more prominent). This is done via modulation wheel or breath controller, -the C(Concert)Flute can also be played as Jazz Flute, by modifying the bore and adding a lip thrill. -low CPU load. Controls: Breath Pressure: ModWheel or Breath Controller, -Breath Noise (MidiLearn) -Vibrato (amplitude and/or pitch), -EQ, -Fine tuning. -Lip Thrill (MidiLearn) (C Flute only) -Bore modification (C fFlute only)
BassFlute(Solo2) This trial version is restricted in the following way: the sound is interrupted very shortly with silence. This happens every 20 second. Price: $ 139.00 |
